At present there are just three completed projects on the website. More will be added in due course.
Two of the completed projects relate to major studies of the social economy in Northern Ireland, both undertaken for the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment.
The first study, undertaken in 2001 established the policy framework for the social economy in Northern Ireland and put in place a sets of structures for social economy policy development.
The second study was completed in October 2004 and was a review of finance for the social economy, examining international best practice.
Documentation on each of these two projects can be reached by clicking on the following link to the social economy pages.
The third completed project is also related to the social economy. It is an evaluation of a Study Tour to examine US approaches to community investment. The Study Tour was undertaken on the initiative of Belfast Local Strategy Partnership in November 2004. A party of 17 people from the public, private and voluntary and community sectors examined leading approaches to community investment in Boston and then attended the US National Community Based Investment Conference in San Francisco. The evaluation report and some photographs of the event are available by following this link.
